The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of self-talk and imagery combined with skill practice on shooting accuracy among soccer players. The researchers randomly selected 30 male college soccer players from Mandsaur University, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, India. The subjects ranged in age from 18 to 23 years. They were divided into two equal groups based on their initial performance in shooting accuracy. Shooting accuracy was the dependent variable, and six weeks of imagery training was the independent variable for this study. A randomized group design was employed in this study. The groups were assigned to a training program. Group I received self-talk and imagery training, and Group II served as the control group. The training program for the experimental group subjects lasted for six weeks. The dependent means "t" ratio was used to determine if there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the two groups. The results of the study revealed that the training program significantly improved shooting accuracy.
