The purpose of this paper is to identify the statistical relationship between psychological resilience and the skill of intercepting the ball from the opponent in football for young people, the research sample underwent a psychological resilience test and a test of the skill of intercepting the ball from the opponent in football, which was addressed in the research, and the researcher assumed the existence of a statistically significant correlation between the psychological resilience test and the skill of intercepting the ball from the opponent in football. The researchers used a descriptive approach, appropriate to the nature of the research. The study was conducted on a sample of 34 young players from the (Air Force) Sports Club football team for the 2025-2026 season. These players, aged 17-19, represented 70.58% of the original research population. They were selected purposively, and the SPSS statistical package was used for the following statistical analyses: percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The researchers found that the psychological resilience test showed a significant correlation with the skill of intercepting the ball from an opponent in football when comparing test results.
