This research aims to study the effect of specific training based on targeting the working muscles on improving kinetic response and shooting accuracy in young basketball players. The experimental approach was used on a sample of players aged (15-17 years) from the Solidarity Basketball Club. Two groups were formed out of them: an experimental group that received a special training program focused on strengthening and activating the core muscles involved in shooting, and a control group, which followed the regular training program. The experiment lasted for (6) weeks, with a weekly rate of two training sessions. The experimental group benefited from statistically significant variations between the pre- and post-measurements, according to the data in both kinetic response and shooting accuracy, indicating the effectiveness of training designed to target the working muscles. The researcher recommends adopting these training programs as part of the training plan for young players to achieve tangible development in the basic skills of the game
