Abstract:

Football has a prominent status globally, akin to other sports, and continues to captivate enthusiasts, with interest in the game rising across all nations due to its unique attributes marked by excitement and tension. The physical condition of futsal players who are deaf and mute constitutes a crucial foundation that influences the efficacy of their skill and tactical execution. Addressing any issue necessitates comprehensive understanding and specialised knowledge of the specific problem, grounded in scientific principles aimed at elevating the player to peak performance levels. To achieve high athletic standards in sports activities broadly, and futsal for the deaf and mute specifically, a high degree of proficiency in fundamental complex skills and physical capabilities is essential. The researcher, drawing from extensive experience in futsal training, has identified a pronounced deficiency in the physical and technical capabilities of players within the deaf and mute category. This shortcoming may stem from an insufficient reliance on educational and scientific training programs designed to enhance physical attributes and fundamental skills, as well as the inadequate application of rigorous scientific assessment to rectify these issues. Consequently, the researcher recognised the necessity of formulating an effective educational program that incorporates contemporary training methodologies to improve specific physical and technical competencies among futsal players who are deaf and mute. The study seeks to enhance the intricate physical and skill competencies of deaf and mute futsal players. The researcher employed an experimental methodology, establishing two groups: one experimental and one control, utilising pre- and post-assessments to align with the research's objectives and nature. The research sample was intentionally selected through randomisation from the futsal players of the Paralympic Committee in Maysan Governorate for the 2024 season, comprising a total of 20 players. These participants were divided into two groups (control and experimental), with each group consisting of 10 players, adhering to specific selection criteria.
